I have tried many needles and different types of yarn. Do not use large eye needles. Finally, after numerous attempts, I finally got back to working with threads. I tried to get the eye in the forward position and pressed my hand to pull the needle up to see if it got stuck on it. If the needle comes out, the needle has not been caught. So I tried again to check if the needle is hooked and if the needle is hooked then the needle will be threaded. i still love it I would buy this again. Just practice inserting the needle into the needle threader.
