My daughter loves dolls very much. I was shocked that so many of the dolls I bought online or in store were of such poor quality. Usually they all wore the same hideous outfit and not all were made of the same material. The head would be more rubber and the arms and legs cheap plastic! I bought this doll hoping she would have something nicer to wear and I have been very pleased. Not only is the material great, but the clothes and hat the doll wears are also of great quality. She is a bit heavier than cheap dolls, so sometimes it is difficult for her to carry her everywhere, but she grows into them. Oh, and did I mention that if you lay her on her back and sit down her eyes will open and close! If you are looking to purchase a doll that you would love to give as a gift, look no further! I'm also considering buying food and bottles to use with the doll, as well as the Melissa & Doug brand. This doll is very cute and I am very happy with the quality! Good product!
