This type of laser doesn't have much competition

This laser offers something that my Stabila, Leica, PLS and Bosch lasers don't. I can measure the underside of joists, metal decks, and ceiling heights without kneeling on the floor and looking up to make sure I'm on target. I usually find myself in a messy workspace surveying an abandoned building or a pigeon-infested church tower. Not kneeling in a mess is good. You also have the option of measuring an area where you cannot easily reach the outside walls. So standing in the middle of the room and taking measurements (sometimes on stairs) was a big help. The accuracy corresponds to my other lasers. Cons: It has built-in layers (bubbles, not digital) that can be useful in a backlit setting, but are of little use in a dark room. Overall build quality is ok, a bit of rubber on both ends, haven't dropped it yet. The price is high, but there are no other options for this type of laser. Haven't been to a large camp to test range (measurements have been under 60ft so far) if missing I'll edit the review.
