This headset is designed for continuous use of podcasts and audio books most of the day. There are several phone calls that can drag on. The battery life in them is noticeably reduced, but it is still enough to work during the day and most of the evening. Long battery life and fast charging are the best features of this headset. If I forget to charge it overnight, I can pop it on the charger while I get ready in the morning and slam the door with a charge that will last me all day. The controls are on the outer bar on the right. This has kept me from accidentally dialing a number with my chin or turning the volume on or off when I turn my head. The retraction button is located INSIDE the strap on each side of the headset. When I raise my hand and work overhead, I often accidentally press this button and the headphone cord retracts and hits me in the face. It's uncomfortable. This headset is best worn under a collar as without a collar the headset can jump or even fall when I'm doing this overhead work when looking up and reaching. To get from the bottom of the headset to the ear, that advertised length doesn't seem all that long. If the cords were a little longer, this headset would be more comfortable. Unfortunately, I find that the longer the cables, the thinner they need to be, and these headphone cables are THIN! They lasted longer than I thought, but I'm starting to have problems. I need to contact support for help. It's the battery life and charging speed! A few more notes: The vibration on this headset is not subtle. I'm sure my neighbor will feel it when I turn it on. Don't think you can discreetly receive call notifications during a meeting. Everyone in the room hears the vibration. Also, this headset vibrates when I get a call even if I have Do Not Disturb turned on. I don't know if it's the headset not responding to Do Not Disturb or some weird configuration of my phone. If the headset is out of Bluetooth range, the vibration will not alert you to your phone. There is only an audible alarm. The headset itself will play the incoming call identifier number. I don't know how to disable this annoying feature. The play and pause button has a very audible and imperceptible click. Something else to consider when you're in a meeting.
