I bought this for my Ford F-150 with the front center seat that folds down. The barrier was easy to install, fitting the full width of the back by attaching to the headrests and using the side panels on the side. This means that the emergency seat in the front seat can only be folded up almost completely, but not locked. Because of this problem, the dog has a gap to put its head on the folded seat and, if small, to climb through. I fixed this by wrapping a tie around a sturdy wire cookie rack in front of the open space. The dog can easily jump onto the barrier, but cannot jump over it. In dealing with all of these issues I have a 5 month old German Shepherd so she gets a little fidgety but for safety the pup is in a harness so it's actually a great barrier to contain the dog and hold the seats . and any other open areas free from the urge to chew. (Although I can't comment on the condition of the rear seat belts. LOL) I highly recommend this product!
