Review on πŸŽƒ 86-Piece Halloween Artificial Pumpkins with Mini Fake Pumpkins, Maple Leaves, Acorns, Pine Cones for Garland, Thanksgiving Decor, Artificial Vegetables, Fall Decorations by Cheryl Brown

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The price is a bit high for the quantity and quality.

It's not bad, but it's not great either. Especially for the current $20. There's currently a 50% off coupon that makes it a little better, but even at $10 it's still not that great of a deal. This is mainly because almost all products are effortless and low quality. When you open the packaging you will immediately notice a strange organic chemical smell which I assume is dye or paint. It's not bad and eventually clears up after about an hour. Maybe some kind of outgassing from paint or glue. First, the squashes and gourds look too obviously molded out of plastic, and the stems are like little plastic pins that go into the top of the plastic gourds. Most of them don't fully catch on, which makes them even more wrong. You can try to put them on yourself but they seem to stick together so you end up breaking them if you try. The leaves are printed onto a very thin, stiff fabric and are grouped together in a group of three colors. Expect 20 of each color. . . but you are probably wrong. I got 16 greens, 23 mixed orange-greens and 22 dark yellows, which to be honest is one more than the 60 in the description. However, I didn't even get close to the shades of red shown in the photo, and what's a set of maple leaves without a few shades of red? Pine cones and acorns are real. . . I think. The acorn caps appear to have been glued onto the nuts, which is actually a good idea considering they always come off. I only got 13 instead of the mentioned 14, but that's okay. Removing leaves from a pile takes a little longer than you might think. They're crammed so tightly together that you'll probably miss a few where two stick together and think it's one. But I've found that if you squeeze the stack of sheets, you can see the separation, and that makes it a little easier to separate them. One of the nice features of the sheets is that they are not completely flat but retain a little creasing which makes them a bit more authentic. All parts can be mistaken for authenticity from a distance, but up close it is clearly a fake. But it's still not scary. Another thing is that the photos in the description don't really show how small they are due to the way they were photographed. To be fair they show the dimensions in one of the photos. Even if you lay everything out, it's a fairly small set - you can put it on a small table or put it in a bowl. My biggest problem is that it seems overpriced for the poor quality. However, I'm giving it three stars because it's something you can reuse year after year, and it looks better than nothing. But I am deducting two stars, one for the high price and one for the below average quality. Overall, I might be hesitant to recommend this as long as the 50% off coupon drops it to $10, but at $20 it's not really worth it.
