There’s a review on here that states it doesn’t fit 2021 model y. But that reviewer is completely wrong. The bar is spring loaded, all you have to do is to push one side to compress the spring and use your hand to push the opposite side, it’ll fit right into the plastic trim that’s included.Overall the install is straight forward, the trims are held on by double sided tape. Before removing the double sided tape, do a test fit and make sure it fit snugly. You can use masking tape to make an outline of where the included plastic trim goes.Once that is done, remove the double sided tape, tape all 4 trim pieces and follow the instruction above for the cover install.Overall the install was super easy. It took longer to remove the red cover from the tape than the install itself.
