Worth the money if you are upgrading from the NiMH versions of the batteries

I waited and waited for multiple coupons and discounts to pile up on this item before purchasing it. It's worth the regular price, but I was willing to wait a bit to save a few bucks. It was worth the wait, especially since I upgraded from a NiMH version I bought from Costco a few years ago. The old one barely lasted a week before I had to charge it. 6000 is enough for more than 2 weeks of daily use (at least 2 brushes per day). The usefulness of additional speed settings is debatable. I rarely use any speed other than the default speed and it's more than enough for my brushing routine. I turned off BT from the start. A stupid addition that I could do without. This isn't Fitbit! lol Also, turning BT off means extra power for longer time between charges. I don't use any accessories other than the charger. I have a few brush heads left so it will be a while before I use the ones that came with the 6000. As others have noted, only the block itself is black. The accessories and even the included brush heads are all white. And as some have noted, the black finish will show toothpaste residue and water stains more quickly if you don't brush it thoroughly and dry it properly (this isn't a problem for me as I wash it thoroughly after each use). The light on the top that stays on all the time when you use it doesn't bother. I understand the light is there for the "red" pressure alert, but I see no need or use of the "white" light itself and will likely reduce battery life between charges. Otherwise no complaints so far. . If it lasts half as long as the NiMH I bought from Costco a few years ago, I'll be happy with the purchase!
