I bought a few of these replacement parts so I compared them all to the OEM case. This device didn't have a battery holder, so it's just the main body (buttons). The finishing or installation is very, very tight. I had to cut the end where it fits into the ignition switch to fit my car. I need to carve out the latch that holds the battery compartment in place. I had to force the gray tab back into place or the case would slide off the key ring and battery holder. I'd say the dimensions could be 1mm across the width in both places. Time will tell how durable it is.
