I love these socks. We live in Michigan and I'm constantly cold and hate when my feet are cold. I've taken to wearing two pairs of socks, one crew, one long, just to mitigate the cold.mostly unsuccessfully. These socks are as thick as they can be, without being too thick that they won't fit into shoes. I wore them out to shovel the snow and we were out there a good while, doing our wide mouthed drive way and the walk up. My feet were cozy, and dry when I came back in. They've kept my feet warm, without causing them to sweat (although, I'm not a huge sweat'r). When I put them on, I pull them up and they stay up. I'll add photos later, but I gave half to my mother and she liked them, as well. They seem well made.
