Review on Maui Moisture Smooth & Repair Hair Butter Treatment - Vanilla Bean Coconut Anti-Frizz, 12 oz. by Dawn Johnson

I've been looking for something to replace Curl Quench Curl Smoothie as it seems to be out of stock in stores and online. I have dry, coarse, coarse, frizzy, wavy hair and many products don't work for me, but this one worked even better than Maui Moisture's Curling Smoothie. The smell is a bit overpowering if you have a sensitive nose. For me personally, I have to do two uses of it and leave most of it with products. I part my hair in the middle and comb it with my fingers on each side before applying the conditioner, tie it in a tie, comb it with my fingers again on each side while rinsing with cold water, soaking the hair immediately using the product after coming out of the shower from roots to tips on each side (my hair is frizzy just applying the tips and I have better results starting from the roots) then I wait about 15 Minutes when my hair is still very damp just before it starts to dry and add another coat but only half what I used the first time and then allow to air dry. I use four fingers to pull out the center part before rinsing out the conditioner in the shower because I don't like the center part. After it dries, I "break the peel" for a smoother, fuller look. I use Hairitage shampoo and conditioner every day and once a week I wash my hair with a Head and Shoulder Shampoo followed by a Hairitage Deep Conditioner Transforming Hair Mask. Just thought I'd add my routine as it took me years to find one that matched my mop.
