It's pretty cool as you don't have to disturb your baby's sleep to play tooth fairy. My daughter lost her first tooth (bought when the tooth fell out) and we put it on her bedroom door which "makes it easy for the tooth fairy to find her tooth". Her tooth was placed in a small bag and magically replaced in the morning with a gift from the tooth fairy and some money. She liked it, and the illusion of magic was preserved for future teeth.
