really good light I've read that some people have received their lamps with uneven and odd shaped glass parts, the stems were perfectly even and nothing was ordinary. My wife and I love them so much we will be purchasing 3 more sets for our other two bathtubs. We also have ours with the bulbs facing down. Edges, no scratches, no dents, everything perfect. We will definitely buy again and we will do just that. socket retaining ring. By "base holder" I mean the round part that holds the glass to the base. You need small hands to make it easier. I'm a man with medium sized hands, so that makes things a bit more difficult. (otherwise I would have given 5 stars)
