This is now a very stylish Bumblebee themed convertible bi/tricycle that has exceeded my expectations for a children's bike. My only complaint is that the adult tie rod is a bit short even for my 5ft 5in wife. You have to bend your back a little to use it. But other than that, it's a very well-made machine that can be transformed into many things while looking very beautiful and uncompromising. I particularly like the single pair paddle system as some bikes/tricycles have two sets of pedals, one of which rotates when the bike is in motion, presenting a significant risk of hitting a child's shin. This is suitable for stationary or wheel pedal position, but not for both. Children under the age of two can't pedal anyway, so keeping the pedal stationary while the wheels are spinning is an important safety feature. All in all very well done and I can imagine it keeping my child's development going until the age of 7 if he needs the right bike.
