Recently moved and our new house has dozens of recessed lights that use this type of bulb. I decided to replace the old incandescent bulbs with fluorescent ones as the old ones are dying. They were the cheapest I could find and I ordered them hoping there wouldn't be any obvious (pun intended) problems. Very happy to report they work great. Like all CFL bulbs, they take some time to warm up and reach maximum brightness, but this lag has never bothered me. The light from them has a nice warm tone and they are about the same brightness as their 65 watt incandescent counterparts. Overall I am very satisfied and feel good that I have saved money on both my energy bills and my lightbulb bills. highlighted.
