Impressively comfortable, with plenty of toe room, but tight in the heel and ankle. Love the green and black design, it matches my green and black Gregory backpack. They seem to have excellent traction with the sole. Offers arch stability unlike other running shoes. I'll be back after our backpacking trip to Canyonlands in a few months to complete the review! I was on a ridge with running water with an 85-pound backpack on a wet, slippery rock in a snowstorm and had complete control of my grip on the wet, slippery rock. It was extremely important not to fall, get hurt or die. Legs and knees didn't hurt when hiking, they were very comfortable and waterproof. love these boots!
