I've wanted to try some of the new hard backs for product photography and while they're still expensive I appreciate them that they are reversible. The "grout" imprinted on tile drawings may not be suitable for closeups, but definitely works for flat lay and many other product photos. The main issue was the coasters which were so hard and dense even after soaking under hot water that they partially peeled off the surface which is not a problem as it is not visible but I did find it a problem. Problem with all stands and brands I've tried. I will definitely keep an eye on new models and sales.
