(12/18/2020 - updated below) (12/31/2020 - last updated) As other reviewers have pointed out, this is not actually a fully functional wireless headset. I assume most people use them to connect (wirelessly) to their PC, XBox, PS etc and expect to use the mic directly, but sadly they will be disappointed. I've connected to my PC via Bluetooth and the headphones and microphone show up as available devices. You cannot use the microphone. The only way to use it is wired, which I think defeats most people. Reading the description "wired connection with bluetooth" led me to believe that you can connect one way or another. Shame on me. What an odd niche to try to fill. TO UPDATE. So, ever since I bought this headset I've been contacting Corsair (excellent support btw - 10 out of 10 for that) - they never said the mic wouldn't work over Bluetooth, but everything we tried didn't have one Effect. I installed a new Logitech mouse on my system today - previously I had a Corsair device with their software installed. After uninstalling the Corsair mouse software, the microphone worked over Bluetooth. At this point I don't care why or how, I'm just glad everything is working now. So if you have purchased this device and are having the same issue with the microphone not working, please go to the installed Corsair software and try again. I have updated my review to reflect this. UPDATE #2: The mouse software turned out to be a red herring. Shortly thereafter, the headset stopped working again. After much trial and error, it turned out that the problem was with the Intel Bluetooth adapter for my PC. I dug up an old BTv2 adapter and the headset connected just fine every time until I tried to use it. The sound was terrible, the output very tinny and flat. The input was just as bad and often broke off. I thought it might be a problem with the BT dongle and bought a new BTv4 dongle. No performance change, sound still terrible. Looks like these guys are going to be back unfortunately. I'll update my rating again.
