Reviews that this is a sustainable scratching post are false. I assembled it like the picture, and the moment my kitty tried to enter the hut, everything tipped over. I modified it as in the attached picture to make it more stable but my cat is no longer interested after a bad experience. Regardless, the top box/hutch is so small my 4 month old kitten can barely fit in it and he definitely won't fit in when he grows up. The hammock mount flexes a lot when in it and it only weighs about 6 pounds. This is definitely not for an adult cat! If you buy it, rebuild it like I did so it doesn't tip over and not only injure it, but potentially injure your cat. Will return.
