Easy to apply and I expected it to work like the old one. At first glance I noticed that it is a bit thinner in width and depth. Second, when I light the charcoal, I see a faint smoke coming out from under the neck of my smokehouse. I thought this issue would go away after it was fixed, but since replacing the gasket I am unable to set the correct temperature on my Kamado grill. I use a wireless indoor sensor along with meat sensors so I now have a leaner smoker than I used to to manage my temperature range. I plan to replace it this summer.
