Review on 🔧 Barker Manufacturing Co. 31340 Universal Slidewinder: A Reliable Solution for Versatile Sliding Operations by Mark Toth

Actually I would have preferred to give 4.5 stars but it seemed like a small change. Overall it works exactly as advertised. These are very strong jacks that are easy to set up and have greatly reduced the swaying of my 33ft trailer when people are moving. What worries me is that there were two packs of small screws in the box. The instructions don't mention screws anywhere and I couldn't figure out where to go. I haven't had any issues yet, but when you have steel jacks to support a 6,000 lb camper you really start to worry about missing bolts. I'll put it this way: the instructions don't mention leveling the floor under the jacks, but it's pretty important. I took out a shovel, leveled the ground where the jacks are, and put a 2x4 under the jack. So much more convenient and safer. DO NOT place the jacks on uneven ground as they may move or bend.
