Before buying, I read some not very enthusiastic reviews, mainly that the eyelashes were not thick as expected or it was difficult to cover a neutral color with mascara. I'm almost 70 and don't have the thick lashes of my youth anymore, so I was looking for a product to compensate. I've been using the product for a little over a month and I want to share a technique that I think will solve all problems. First, it's important to apply a light product and let it dry a bit before sweeping the mascara over your lashes. If you want to accentuate your eyes, for example for a special event or a night out, apply two light coats BUT allow each one to dry before applying mascara. My aging lashes are not only sparse but also short. However, using the method I just explained, I have a feeling that CoverGirl Lash Blast is one of my all-time favorite products in my makeup bag.
