Great fit for a tall 5 year old (class K). My kid loved it and wore it with pajamas for warmth around the house and called it his "pajama jacket" because it was as cozy and warm as pajamas. It is lined so it is a medium to heavy shirt weight. I love that it's a cute unisex design so it feels good to hold in my hands no matter what gender the kids are. The buffalo pattern is very modern, stylish and a bit Christmassy, but not too "festive", seasonal. I would easily wear this model any time of the year if the weather calls for it. It's nice enough for a gift and the price seems good for what you get. I think it's good value for money. Overall I would recommend it.
