The lack of instructions was a bit odd, but it was easy enough to apply - I just set the iron to cotton low, positioned the cutting strip and ironed. The moment the iron touched the foil it locked the strip so I could hold one end of the strip to start ironing and hold the strip in place. After letting it cool down, I was able to carefully remove the backing. One day the tip of one of the chevrons started to separate from the fabric when I tugged at it, but changing the foil for a quick extra iron solved the problem. I felt uncomfortable wearing this black parka at night as it makes me virtually invisible to traffic and I'm glad I was able to use this product to solve the problem.
