Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very good for the price!

So there are probably several thousand scales on Revain, and once you start exploring, your head spins. What to buy, how accurate is it, does it work, is it good? You can ask hundreds of questions and spend hours studying and reading reviews. Luckily I did everything and am happy with this purchase. Please see all the pros and cons below. Pros: 1. Price: For $49.99 you actually get a decent, accurate scale with an app to track your progress. There are many other scales around here that I know are twice the price and do the same thing as this scale. weight accuracy. Unlike my old digital scales that started showing the same few pounds, the accuracy of these scales is almost impressive. How do I know? Well I took a 30 lb dumbbell and after calibration it read 29.5 lbs. So give or take 0.5 pounds, which I understand can be the bar itself, quite an impressive display.3. Both WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity. I don't know about you, but my phone has hardly any Bluetooth enabled, so having to turn it on to read and then turn it off to save battery seemed like a daunting task, so I opted for one with the WIFI Option. Once you set up WIFI, you can turn off Bluetooth and it will only send reading over WIFI. Disadvantages: 1. The numbers on the scale are very small. Yes, I know it's built into the application, but the numbers are pretty small, and half asleep in the morning, it takes a lot of effort to read what this scale says. Built-in: Despite being compact, it also feels a bit flimsy. I mean it's a $50 scale, I wasn't expecting Titanium but the build is a bit poor so I'm not sure how long it will last. The app's design is flawed. It took me a good 15 minutes to set up WiFi. For some reason it kept getting deleted and I had to add it manually multiple times. I think the app has a 3 star rating in the Android store. More Actions: The app also has a sports mode option. It measures your BMI, body fat percentage, metabolic rate and many more detailed data. But believe me none of them are accurate so feel free to use them just for information. I know for a fact that my out of shape body isn't 15% fat, damn it, I'd love that. There are machines that cost thousands that accurately measure this and can be found at some gyms called InBody. So if you really want to accurately determine body fat percentage, use one of these scales. The app isn't the prettiest or the most user-friendly, but if you can iron out a few bugs, this scale is definitely worth it. I'm glad I made the purchase and would recommend it. So, comparing the pros and cons, I can definitely recommend this scale. I finally have something
