I have over 20 memory cards (CF, SD, xD etc) for PDAs, phones, digital cameras etc and this Sandisk 60x CF card is by far the fastest card I have ever used have used. I use it on a Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP DSLR. Amazing little machine: I no longer have to wait for pictures to save before moving on to the next, this allows me to use burst mode (14 pictures in 5 seconds), now I can record high-resolution videos of up to 20 pictures. Minutes in MPEG mode, and photo playback is almost instantaneous. The 2GB card is not as fast (slower interface) and much more expensive, so this card is the best compromise for speed, size and price. FYI - I've tried Lexar 80x cards but their write acceleration technology doesn't work for many cameras (e.g. Canon) and some PDAs (choose HP), making them average cards for most applications. Other browsers link to websites where you can check compatibility and compare the speed of all cards.
