is a duplicate of the standard remote control for our TV Samsung UN65MU1290. when we got our TV and tried to use the universal remote. Have you found that our learning remote control doesn't occupy some important buttons on Samsung remote? So we tried another distance learning course and the same situation. So I figured the easiest way is to just buy a second OEM remote and have it handy in case a button dies or is lost, for example. I had to double check the model numbers as Samsung has too many remotes! and some appear almost identical, but are not. it works what i hoped. I am very happy with it and would recommend it to other Samsung owners.
