This system is very cheaply built.

Springs sucking in hole, latch bent, bolts are not found on any table(suspect bolts), pin hole too big for clevis pin, tubing too thin and too small for towing 5,000 lbs ( I wouldn’t trust this towing a Honda CRV). Even the bolts either do not have washers or were even missing proper nuts (no lock washer or lock nuts).Repairs needed: 1) adding 3/16 thk reinforcement to pivot plates to remove gap around clevis, 2) adding 3/16 thk tube wraps on both ends to strengthen the tow tubes, 3) adding 3/4 thk spacers at hitch bracket and 4) switching out all fasteners for grage 8 bolts-nuts-washers.
