Review on Babo Botanicals Mineral Sunscreen Unscented by Brittney Reynolds

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect for the little ones! Doesn't burn your eyes!

USE: I use this product for my children who have very fair skin. I only apply it from the neck down because my favorite way to use the Babo Botanicals Baby Face Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 is on my face just because they think sticking it on your face is fun. ADVANTAGES: There are several factors to consider when buying a sunscreen for babies: active ingredients, water resistance, oiliness, transparency and ease of spread. I love that the Zinc Oxide is 100% active, it floats on water and doesn't wash off, it's not so greasy that dirt collects on your skin but maybe some dust will stick if you put it straight in penetrates the skin. Sandbox after application/reapplication. It makes them a shade lighter, but they have fair skin and pure zinc oxide is white, which worries me. It's easy to apply and does smell a bit like plasticine, but I like that it's not filled with useless, toxic smells. The lotion is applied to the back of the hand and Babo has never had any problems with burning eyes. I once used a CeraVe SPF 50 fragrance-free moisturizer and my poor kids' eyes would sting as soon as they rubbed them. I'm glad Babo doesn't sting! CONS: It's expensive. I try to update every 80-90 minutes. This little bottle didn't last a month with two babies. Thank god you bought half. CONCLUSION: I can definitely recommend this product! When it comes to my kids and their comfort, it's worth spending a little more for peace of mind.
