Although measurements are given there, I was a little surprised by the size. It's smaller than I expected, but I actually like it better. it might be overkill if it's bigger. The smaller size makes it cute. If it was more, it might be too much (for my taste). It is as bright as in the photo. It looks great on my denim jacket. This is a solid, well-made piece of jewelry that I highly recommend. The pin clasp doesn't close, you just slide it into the curved clasp where it clicks and stays. If you have big, fat fingers, it can be a little tricky to get the needle into the clasp.
