The benefit of this is I wanted low flow and I want to feel like it's low flow so I feel like I help with the California drought. The lever for clicking a setting is handy because I know I've moved the setting to the next click stop. However, I mostly use one of the five settings. A setting, lowest, water tickling, useless, must be my low pressure line. A fine stream of water that squirts out and gives a good clean is best as you know this will save water. With more water, the sprayer will click with higher flow, but the maximum flow rate is 1.5 GPM. I like this option, although I leave it on a lower setting to save water. One downside is that it's not heavy so it's not all metal so I hope it lasts 10 years.
