Bought this for my Sears 12 inch band saw. The quality of the blade compared to the OEM blades I've used was immediately apparent. I used the blade to cut through 3 inches of walnut for pattern carving. I was able to follow the lines of the drawing and make curves with very small radii. It worked perfectly. I bought it for band sawing birds and animal patterns for wood carving and will buy another one in the future. UPDATE: Blade worked exactly as described above. However, after carving some bird drawings, he started setting the wood on fire as it tarnished too quickly. Some have been helped by cleaning and stoning while manually reversing the blade, but it still doesn't cut as freely as it did when new. inches, which is a lot for wood 3 inches thick.
