Not worth the hassle

***MAY 2020 UPDATE***So just over a year after purchase I have a better idea of them. I'd recommend investing in something from Lowe's or Home Depot that either plugs into an outlet or plugs into an outlet. Therefore.1. The battery life is terrible. I charge all 3 all the time and at different times.2. Incompatible with battery life and sensor. I have 2 lights next to each other under a long cabinet. One stays on while I work underneath it, and the other (literally 1 inch away) goes off. They shouldn't. They should stay on when motion is constant, but they aren't.3. Don't let the bright light fool you. While they look great and cover the perfect area *when fully charged*, they start to dim as soon as the battery dies (which happens quickly, as mentioned). This is all when I physically turn on these lights in a "touch" setting. I don't leave them on all the time because 2 of the 3 I have are on for at least 30 seconds when I go to the kitchen. This means that the miserable battery life will end even sooner if left in "on" mode. So there's no way I'm paying another $35 for another set in a year. That would put me at $70 for what is basically a 2 year lease. Invest in something better than Chinese junk. As much as I love those sensors under our closets, I think the sensors are overly sensitive. I have to turn them off before bed because the dog that is 4ft away from me in his cage turns on one of them. I also included two others that are under different cabinets just by entering the room. I'd rather toggle them on and off when working directly underneath. I see that I'm not even trying to toggle them on and off at some point, which is really really bad. They are beautiful, bright and very helpful! Seriously, I love her and only wish I had had her years ago. I just have to suggest tinting that sensor. Installation is easy, right out of the box. It's nothing scary at all. All 3 lights come in thin foam sleeves for protection. Each also has thin metal strips of the same size with 3M tape. They are used to attach them to any surface and easily remove them for charging. The lighting is perfect. The distance from the cabinet to the rack is about 24-30 inches, and there's just enough light on the surface to see what we're doing. They are very compact. The ones I bought are only 7 inches long and 2 inches wide. This is a small light for such a big power! The timer is amazing. I read that it should turn off automatically after 20 seconds. I've seen it turn off in less than 10 seconds. Oddly enough, I have 2 lamps next to each other under the same cabinet, but I've seen them turn off at different times. It's a bit inconsistent. I recommend this product but beware of sensitive sensors.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
