Now that everyone is on video, we all need a camera. Sellers know this, and if you're like me, you've had too many options when searching. There are famous names that charge two hundred dollars a unit and cheap Chinese ones that cost less than twenty. And ratings all over the map for everyone! Thanks for nothing, fellow users, lol. Anyway, here is my story, maybe it will help some of you. After reading all the reviews and not even getting help from professional review sites, I decided to give this one a try. Processing quality is ok. I wasn't expecting professional caliber at this price point, but it's pretty good. The case is plastic, but the lens window is clean, the screen protector slides smoothly, and all the cables worked when I first plugged them in. sudden movements, I think everything will be fine. One of the things I love is that the privacy screen is built into the camera as a built-in design feature rather than an afterthought. I'm sure the third party screens that stick to the camera work just fine, but this design is a lot cleaner. The picture quality is also pretty good. The main criticisms that keep popping up about cheap webcams (and even some of the more expensive ones) are poor lighting, fisheye, grainy images, poor autofocus, and color. I was very pleased to find that Nexigo handled all of these conditions competently. Now, this isn't a premium megapixel camera, but it doesn't fall short in any of those areas. but even then, not being recognized on video calls isn't a bad thing. At the maximum resolution (1080), the picture is clear and details in the background are clearly visible. I didn't have any exposure issues, although I didn't experiment much with shooting in very bright light. I didn't notice the fisheye effect on either resolution, and the autofocus seemed to focus on me well and adjust fairly quickly as I moved. So far, video streaming performance has been good. In meetings, people don't complain about my stuttering or blurring. Sound quality The built-in microphone works perfectly. Again, this isn't a professional mic, and since you're effectively using it as a hands-free mic for video calls, it's likely to sound like a hands-free mic. But I was able to run the business and nobody complained about my sound. In fact, the microphone is good enough to pick up background noise, which can actually be bad. I can't say anything about the supposed stereo capabilities of the microphone(s). The camera body definitely looks like it has a hole on the left and right for it, but I don't think I would need that feature. If you're hosting a podcast with two interlocutors, one on each side of the camera, this might help. to indicate when the microphone was on. Other Thoughts The privacy screen seems like a good idea to me. I have no idea if the hackers can access it or if they can still access the mic, but it is what it is anyway. Another problem is that the camera can reach a fairly wide angle. So if you don't have a background or virtual background software, people can see most of your surroundings. Overall the camera is good; It has no critical flaws and is more than enough for my needs.
