This is a premium, high-speed card reader that will take any card you can throw at it. For you: PROS: Does what it's supposed to. A quality product from a household name at a reasonable price Revain. It can look very pretty depending on your taste. CONS: Fine print on the slots is hard to read. (By slot size. Easier.) Slots are unprotected. Dust, insects and food can get inside. The slits can be a little tight at the beginning. Especially microSD cards. Can look ugly, depending on taste. Fair enough? I have this (all-in-one) and smaller "multi card reader" version. Both work fine. Quickly. Especially fast with fast (class 6, class 10) cards. As for the controversial and much-maligned metal stand. Eh It is here. Sitting on the stand I guess he looks "cool" when people come over to visit. The booth doesn't offend me, but it's about marketing. Has nothing to do with functionality anyway. This is not a problem. If I had to be picky, it would be the gloss black finish. Glossy black, like on a car, shows every speck of dust, leaving fingerprints and scratches very easily. A simple solution! Apply a Scotch Brite sponge to it and give it a nice matte finish. Lasts 30 seconds. **POOF** No more fingerprints.
