CaddyTek - Just a Mediocre Handcart

Caddytek's 4-wheeler has a few plus points - storage space and included accessories. The umbrella holder and cup holder are of decent quality, as is the cooler bag. Accessories aside, this is a really mediocre car. I have the Bag Boy and Sun Mountain carts and they are a much better match in quality and finish. From the first lap my bike started squeaking - imagine the sound of walking in wet shoes when your tires are spinning. The benefit of 4 wheels is actually negligible and I would recommend a 3 wheel unit for more manoeuvrability. Lesson learned - I would buy another Caddytek - not now - run a Sun Mountain Speed Cart or Bag Boy Nitron - a much better choice at around $200 - so really no price difference. Really wanted this "Explorer V8" - used it for a few laps but really couldn't stand how cheap it seemed - even the front cover is cracking and coming off and it's literally cheap plastic that given away in a few rounds. Don't be fooled by the 4 and 5 star ratings - I have no affiliations or recommendations. The Caddytek Explorer v8 is really just the middle of the pack, maybe the cruiser model is better but I highly doubt it - stick with the big brands that have been around for over a few years!
