I really wanted this to work and was impressed by all the positive feedback, but unfortunately it didn't work. I checked it twice. Baby ribs for the first time. I put a rack on the counter and one on the defrosting dish. Both took a very long time to defrost and the same amount of time. Then I decided to try again with two chicken breasts. I put them both on a tray on my counter (room temp 74 degrees) and after two hours they were still almost completely frozen. I don't think I did anything wrong because you couldn't have done anything wrong with that. Maybe my item is defective. Although it's easy to clean. Unfortunately, this is the only positive thing about the product so far.
