Beautiful - Terrible - Mashed Potato and Rice Cooker
Beautifully designed but almost impossible to mash potatoes or anything. The surface of this masher is about 50 percent flat plastic that's nearly impossible to push through even the softest boiled potatoes. I suppose if you use non-stick pans you might want to try to combat this, but if you have regular steel pans use a reliable old bent wire jig. Me and some guests tried to compare the two and the good old 99 cent shop pounder won handily. Now we use it to comb the dog's coat - it's great for that.
