I am new to dentures and have been trying to put off using adhesives mainly because it is very difficult to get the adhesive off my gums by the end of the day. No problem with this powder. I just rinse my mouth out with warm water after removing the prosthesis and the glue melts without rubbing. I couldn't imagine how powder would hold up an upper denture, but I found powder glue (both brands) held up very, very well. I only use powder now. Both brands are good, but what makes Poligrip special is that it's zinc-free. Without zinc, I can use it more than once a day if needed. But so far I haven't had to reapply it as it stays on very well from 7am to 9pm with no problems. In fact, the prosthesis is difficult to remove when I try to remove it earlier because it is holding up very well. If you currently use paste glue, try powder. It holds up great and is much easier to clean at the end of the day. This review relates only to maxillary dentures. A lower prosthesis is very difficult to attach with ANY glue as it is exposed to a lot more liquid.
