I struggled with how to rate these. I will say that if I was just rating the earrings, I would probably give them 5 stars. They are really nice looking, a great price, and it’s great to have a variety of sizes. My issue is with the screw on backing. I bought this style because I seem to have fat earlobes and I thought the backing seemed a bit smaller leaving for a longer post. The problem with the backing (and maybe this is just me…) is they are these tiny, tiny little balls that have a teeny weeny hole in them. It seriously takes me close to 10 minutes to get the backs on these earrings because it’s so hard to maneuver the tiny little ball. They roll around between your fingers, and then you no longer have the hole placed correctly for the post to go into. I’m honestly surprised that these earrings have such great reviews because of this (although to be fair I did not read the reviews and was just going off the overall ratings.) I’d be inclined to give this two stars, just because it has been so inconvenient for me, but once you get them on, they are very nice. If you have elf fingers, then don’t hesitate to get these earrings!
