This unit works as promised. The advantage of the device lies in its compact size and ease of use. The instruction manual is very sparse, so there are a few things that need to be done. I returned my device so I haven't used it enough to rate its reliability. The reason I sent it back is that a device playing audio on a computer via a USB port has a noise floor of around -30dBA, which is equivalent to listening to music at a distance of around 100 feet from a equivalent to a torrent. There seems to be a problem using the USB port to transfer analog music and I've tried three different computers with the same result. The RCA output is very quiet though, and a cable is included so you can use this unit to connect to a sound card and record into Audacity. (Also, the sound quality of the music is pretty good via the RCA outputs.) Obviously, using the RCA outputs eliminates the need for a cassette player with a USB output, which is the whole point of this unit.
