The charger has good magnetic fixation. I use a MagSafe case and my brother uses a regular case with a magnetic disc that comes with the charger. I haven't had any charging issues so far. If you lose connection, you are most likely using an adapter and not a charger. Use a good cigarette lighter adapter and you won't have any problems. ππΌ
