Cool stuff! I've tried it before with another one and it sucks! It had small dangling wires from the spring which broke off after some use and then didn't work properly. This one has a different setup for triggers that don't have a dangling wire, which is why it works so well. It also feels better in the hand. It's lighter and the plastic doesn't get hot when the phone gets warm like the one I've used. I'm pretty sure the other one was made in China. The only negative is that the fan battery is terrible. But I usually play near the cable, so I just leave it plugged in. An extra wire, a bit fiddly, but no big deal. I'm still giving 5 stars because the main feature, Trigger, works much better than the other one I had. And I'd rather have a fan with a low battery than one that's bigger and heavier. If I had changed anything it would be the pens. I want them to point outwards a few degrees, like the PS4 controller. And maybe use a material that blocks radiation and heat from phones? I've found that after prolonged use (which I use a lot due to the quarantine) my hands get a little stingy. I think it's the radiation? Because it's not the same as just keeping something warm for a long time. Anyhow, I love the product. It's a lot better than holding a phone that gets hot as hell in weird hand positions for hours. It just broke. not cool. The mechanism for holding the phone has also weakened over time. My phone is s10+ and I had to cut out some plastic on one side to make room for the headphone jack. Now when I don't have headphones plugged in to hold the phone, the phone just slides out of the bottom. It's a great product when it works properly, just not very durable. Triggers shouldn't break easily. There's real debate about getting another one because the trigger broke so easily.
