Works great, very versatile

This thing works great. With 3 plugs and 4 USB ports, it offers everything I need in a small package. When I travel, I can use the plugs to charge my AAA and AA batteries with the charger and use the USB ports to charge my phone, tablet, camera, etc. I looked at online reviews and most of the negative ones complained. About USB ports, not all are fast charge ports and online description implies all 4 ports are fast charge ports and they are, but there is a catch. For me the fast charge port should draw 2.4 amps and all 4 ports will do it, just not at the same time. Specification. the sheet that came with the device explains the problem; USB ports have a total of 3 amps. So if you plug in one device you will get 2.4 amps but if you connect 2 devices you will only get 1.5 amps each, 3 devices will get 1 amp each and 4 devices will get 0.75 amps. removed from the fast charge port. But if you look at it practically, each device you plug into a regular outlet can only draw 15 amps. So if each USB port draws 3 amps, that means you have 12 amps for USB ports, and then if you plug anything into one of the other outlets, you'd probably blow the circuit breaker. So they limit each thing to about 3 amps. So you have 3 plugs for 3 amps. that's 9 amps and 3 amps for the USB ports, giving you 12 amps total and some left over just in case. So if you need 4 quick charge ports, you need to buy 4 quick chargers and plug them into the power strip. So that's my two cents. This device works well for me because I charge my stuff overnight.
