Upgrade: Downgraded to one star. Now turn on the light randomly (think in the middle of the night how great it is to wake up at 1am!) and turn off the fan until the remote is disturbed. Happened several times. Now we need to remove the fan and remove this product so that we can use the light and fan and not wake up in the middle of the night or fry without using the fan. The remote control works great. Unable to pair with the Smart Life app. Following the instructions exactly will always result in three beeps, not the long beep the instructions state. I contacted Revain technical support but still no connection. I read that a review said the controller came with a WiFi antenna, but I didn't have one and only saw a picture that had an antenna. I have a smart life app that works great with the 2 switches I already had. I'm afraid to remove the fan again if I have to.
