This filter effortlessly removes moisture from the airbrush. I spent days trying to figure out why my airbrush was spraying so much (I even bought a new airbrush). I'm currently doing an artist residency in Detroit and have found that moisture builds up in the hose itself because it's very humid here causing water spatter which ruins the paint/airflow (I've never had a moisture problem with my airbrush at home in California because of the drought there). I was very skeptical that this filter would solve the problem, so much so that I immediately ordered an air pump and reservoir to help with these problems. The filter I received looks different than the one pictured. It's a bit more compact but DEFINITELY helps reduce the amount of moisture that comes out of the brush. About every 15 minutes I press the button under the filter to drain the moisture. I would also recommend taking breaks to let your compressor cool down as a hot compressor will draw in more condensate. ALSO lowering the PSI on your compressor will HUGE help with moisture issues. If you're still having trouble, it may help to shorten the length of hose from the pump to the brush. If the item continues to work and last a while I will come back and give it another star.
