Review on Monroe 39047 OESpectrum Monotube Shock by Pius Aponte

d share my story. I bought a pair for my 2007 Mercedes Benz C230 and was very disappointed with the quality of these shocks! I took my car to a mechanic and he installed them in my car in a day. The first few days the car was very stiff and heard a strong knock. I called my mechanic and he said give him another 500-1000 miles for the shocks to break in. A week later I drove my car another 1200 miles and they started squeaking like no other. The car felt unbalanced on ramps and corners. I could hear it popping and creaking like it was a 1976 car. It was one of the worst investments I've ever made. I tried to contact MONROE but the service is terrible. They said I would have to pay for the labor to take them back out of the car and send them to the warehouse for inspection and wait 2-3 weeks. that is if i can leave my car in the shop for 2-3 weeks. Then if defects are found they send me a replacement and it takes Amazon another week to send it to me. Replacing my old one cost me $800 and now I'm paying another $800 to take it off and wait 4 weeks. It was just a nightmare, I do not recommend anyone to buy any MONROE products not only because of the BAD QUALITY but also because of the horrible unreasonable fake disgusting lifetime warranty!
