So here's the circumference of this suit. First of all, pay attention to the size grid of the seller. I measured my 7 year old (who has worn a size 8 consistently since he was 6) and found that this suit would be too big if I ordered his normal size. If you don't mind the suit fitting better so your child can wear it longer, then ordering it in their normal size will work. However, as a Jehovah's Witness, our children wear costumes 2-3 times a week, so I wanted them to fit. 7 was perfect, especially for the price. He felt like a small person. The jacket has an inside pocket about which he was in seventh heaven. My only complaint is that the pocket square is not removable. With this great suit, I want to be able to change the tie for different looks. So I take it to my alteration man and take it off so I'm not restricted in what type of tie he can wear. If you are looking for an inexpensive but very nice suit, then this suit is for you. I will say that the pants felt a bit larger compared to the rest of the costume, but that's the simplest of problems. There are also internal adjusters and curved hinges.
