This dance shoe is designed for movement, dancing. Comfort and support are not the focus of this shoe. I bought 9 and it fits perfectly, stays on like a glove. The upper is made of thin, stretchy leather that offers a comfortable fit without causing discomfort. I love these shoes but I can only wear them for a few hours. There are absolutely no fillers in the sneakers. It's like ballet flats. They have a suede bottom (great for spins) and after a few hours in this shoe you can actually see my fingerprints on the sole of the shoe. It's that subtle! It's so flexible that it folds easily, perfect for skating with your feet in WCS. I added a cheap foam pad last night which worked fine but was still flimsy. I usually wear orthotics, but I can get away with them for a few hours of dancing. I love wearing them because they are so flexible, fit well and are lightweight. I especially like doing spins and turns with these shoes. I think you have to see it with your own eyes!
