Review on Toysmith 4M Glow In The Dark Planets & Supernova - STEM Astronomy Space Toys for Kids & Teens, Room Décor - Ideal Gift for Boys & Girls by Tara Ford

They have a place, but you have to understand the catch.

This one is not good. I have bought about 1000 stars in different types of sticky glow in the dark stars and out of these the largest ones have failed for several reasons. First, they don't glow well even in strong light exposure. Secondly. and that honestly should be the first one, but they are a hazard to the kid who is still putting things in their mouths. If I could emphasize it I would, gravity will defeat them and they will fall. They're made of 1" wide hard plastic and have a flimsy mounting pad. Even using multiples on the same star will result in a crash. Tomorrow I'll have to take them all off. Here's the other side of it all. Create a real universe in a space, then buy them and they will become very faint stars on your galaxy wall.Thank you for your time!

Pros
  • Sets for painting by numbers
Cons
  • There are even more interesting possibilities.
